Rang De is a registered non profit organisation and works as a facilitator to make low cost micro credit a reality.

When you invest in a borrower RangDe.org and the field partner work as intermediaries to ensure that your money reaches the borrower of your choice. The field partner and Rang De also work together to protect your money and collect repayments and provide you with regular feedback from the field.
Being your first point of contact, RangDe.org takes the following steps to ensure that your interests are protected:

Partner Due diligence

A field partnership with Rang De takes anyhere between one month to three months to get a final green signal from the Rang De team. This is done with a lot of care and because it involves a long term relationship, there is no rushing up here. There are several levels of due diligence that the potential field partner undergoes and this continues even during the field partnership tenure.
The several levels of due diligence provide us with adequate information about the organisation along the following lines:

• Vision, Mission, Commitment
• Governance
• Financial health
• Reference checks
• Team strength
• Interaction with the Community

Safeguard your money

Any money that we receive as investments from social investors and as repayments from borrowers are held in a separate account and is untouched for our operations. Investments are held only temporarily for a maximum period of 30 days only to aggregate the amount and bring down the cost of transaction with the bank before it is transferred to the field partner who in turn proceeds with the disbursal. Regular feedback through audits

Once the loan has been disbursed to borrowers, there is constant communication between the field partners and Rang De team. The Rang de team members, volunteers and many social investors are part of these audits which we call evaluation. Almost every quarter there is some form of interaction that takes place with the borrowers. Field Partners are also trained to provide regular updates to Rang De about the borrowers. At the end of the loan tenure, we will provide a detailed wellness report about the borrower.
